Requirements

a J2EE 1.4 compatible Web container such as Apache Tomcat 5.5 or JBoss 4.X
jasperreport-*.jar and its required libraries
OSCache (tested version: 2.3)- used internally in JasperTags for caching.

A main goal for the JasperTags project is to try to keep in synch with the latest (GA) versions of JasperReports. Jaspertags has been tested with JasperReports v.1.3.4. It may or it may not work with other versions :-)
